First, everyone at OTG would like to extend our utmost thanks to all parents/guardians for their support throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. It was incredibly disappointing not to be able to conduct our youth theatre sessions as we normally would before the summer holidays. That said, the enthusiasm of our students during the online sessions was inspiring to see.
We said before the summer holidays that we would reassess the situation in September, and that remains very much the plan. We had hoped to have announcements by now regarding the reopening of OTG, but the most recent developments around the 'Rule of Six', and no Wirral schools currently hiring out venues, has somewhat scuppered parts of the plan.
Please rest assured, as soon as we are able to open safely, we will do so. In the meantime, we will continue to assess various options for engagement with our students - further details of this will be emailed to all current students, parents/guardians this week.
We hope that you are all keeping well and safe and doing your bit to help get us all back to a version of life we recognise.
