SHOW TITLE
Titus Andronicus
YEAR
2016
PERFORMED
Heswall Hall, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
One of Shakespeare’s first and, without doubt, his bloodiest play, sees the great Roman General, Titus Andronicus, returning from a successful campaign against the Goths. After the sacrificial killing of one of the Goth princes, Tamora, the newly advanced Empress of Rome, silently plots her revenge against the Andronicus family. What follows is a lurid tale of murder, rape, and mutiny; a lot of revenge and a little bit of pie.
Directed by Dan Meigh and Eric Blakemore.
Photography by Jon Hall.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
