SHOW TITLE

Robin Hood & The Golden Arrow of Doom

YEAR

2007

PERFORMED

NW England, N Wales & Ireland

DESCRIPTION

He robs the rich to give to the poor. He is the enemy of tyrany and injustice. And, unbeknown to many, he is by far and away the best dancer in the Greenwood.

Join Robin and his band of Merry Men (and some equally merry women) as they fight, sing and frolic for freedom, fairness and an end to the evil rule of the Sheriff of Nottingham.

A searing indictment of class inequalities and the devastating effect of the feudal system in the middle ages. Sort of…

“Robin Hood and the GAOD is one of the daftest productions created by OTG. It is also one of its most entertaining. It all works wonderfully well in this original script actually written for the company by Helen Newell. This is a lively and highly amusing show in which every performer gets to over act madly with a sense of fun that overcomes all objections.”
Daily Post

“…a vibrant, exciting and hilarious show, enough to put a bit of sunshine into anyone’s summer.”

Do you have questions regarding Off the Ground theatre productions?

What to wear to open air theatre?

The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
