YEAR
2024
PERFORMED
Westbourne Hall Community Trust, Westbourne Road, West Kirby, Wirral, UK
DESCRIPTION
Mistero Buffo is a series of brief monologues with Biblical themes, drawn from the Biblical apocrypha and popular tales of the life of Christ.
Off the Ground Youth Theatre have worked using Dario Fo’s texts and pieces as an inspiration for what you this performance. The controversial spectacle has been put in the mouths of the youth of today, making use of their own language and feelings.
Here we draw attention to the occasional hypocrisy of the establishment of religion as church, as opposed to the internal, personal faith that is sacred to many people.
Directed by Kathryn McGurk, Phil Rayner, Daniel Cambridge, Pete Darwent, Connor Wray and Dan Meigh.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
