SHOW TITLE
Macbeth
YEAR
2018
PERFORMED
West Kirby Arts Centre, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
How far would you go to get power? What would you be prepared to do to hold on to it?
One of Shakespeare’s most revered tragedies, Macbeth is a story of prophecy, fate and treachery, shining a light on the world of political over-reaching, and the damage that seeking power can have, both on Macbeth himself and everybody around him. With betrayal, ghosts, superstition and violence abound, Macbeth is one of the most celebrated - and feared, stories in the English language.
Inspired by ‘This is England’ aggression and the inner politics of gangs in the 80s, with a lot of death and told at a lightning pace, this was a production you didn't want to miss.
By William Shakespeare.
Directed by Daniel Cambridge.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
