SHOW TITLE
DNA/Eclipse
YEAR
2017
PERFORMED
Heswall Hall, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
A double bill of National Theatre Connections plays.
DNA, by Dennis Kelly tells the story of a group of teenagers who do something bad, really bad, then panic and cover the whole thing up. But when they find that the cover-up unites them and brings harmony to their otherwise fractious lives, where's the incentive to put things right? DNA is a poignant and, sometimes, hilarious tale with a very dark heart.
In Eclipse, by Simon Armitage, six friends are interviewed by the police after the disappearance of Lucy Lime, the strange unnerving girl – 'I am a walking Universe, I am' – who they met on the beach beneath the cliffs. Adie likes Gary who likes Shelley who likes Adie. Relationships are strained as they “sort out what they can put up with, and what they can’t.”
Directed by Daniel Cambridge.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
