SHOW TITLE
Caucasian Chalk Circle
YEAR
2014
PERFORMED
Calday Grange, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
As a young maid flees a burning city she makes a radical decision to rescue the Governor's baby from the flames. In the midst of the revolution she can’t help but do good. Throughout the winter months high up in the Caucasus she hides from those who’d have the enemy's baby killed. Their subsequent misadventures across her war-torn country become the heart of Brecht’s playful parable, the question is, once captured will others decide to do what is right in a world that has gone so wrong.
Directed by Iona Farley.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
