Daniel Cambridge is an actor, theatre practitioner and drama teacher with twenty years’ experience in creating and performing theatre in a range of contexts.  As an actor he performed in mainly touring theatre and theatre in education, including a number of shows for Off The Ground, and used theatre in various applied contexts with his company Dangerous Communications.  Daniel has been a regular contributing artist to the Cheshire Drama Advisory’s residential drama weekends at the Conway Centre in Menai for the last 15 years.  He has written a number of plays for Off The Ground Youth Theatre in the past including Swinging Cinderella and Her Fairly Godmother, Aladdin, Monkey!, and The Magnificent Seven Samurai. He also adapted Treasure Island for Off The Ground’s summer tour a number of years ago and wrote The Musketeers for the 2015 summer tour.  Other writing credits include a self-published novel for children Spanish Granny Man and a collection of short bedtime stories, also self-published, called Jiggledy Pook.  Daniel volunteers as a youth leader at Heswall Youth Fellowship as well as exploring other freelance theatre-making opportunities.

Currently Daniel is gainfully employed as a drama teacher at Cronton 6th Form College in Widnes where he nurtures the next generation of actors. Or something.
